Fractions Bingo - Beat the Hippo

To Beat The Hippo by covering all of the answer diagrams on any one of the three mats before the complete pack of cards has been used.

1. Ask each player to select a mat.

2. Place the Hippo Mat in front of the players.

3.Shuffle the cards and place them face-down near the players.

4. Take turns to select the top card from the pile.

    a. Match the fraction on the card with the matching fraction illustration on the player's mat.

   b. Put to the bottom of the pile any cards that do not match an answer on the player's mat.

   c. Place the 'Hippo Cards' in the correct poistion on the Hippo mats.

5.The Hippo wins the game if the mat is completely covered before any of the players complete their mats.

6. Players win if their mats are completed before all cards in the pack are used.
